Megan Marshall is JobsFirstNYC’s Associate of Work Solutions. In this role, she advances the organization’s demand-driven strategies by identifying, cultivating, and engaging sector-based partnerships and bridging the relationship between employers, community-based partners, and policy makers. Prior to joining JobsFirstNYC, Megan worked for New York State Assemblymember Mathylde Frontus, playing a key role in supporting communications strategies and legislative agenda. Before that, she was a program coordinator for Nontraditional Employment for Women, where she helped prepare women to enter skilled trades careers providing career pathways to economic independence. Megan has experience as a contributing columnist to national spirits publication Chilled Magazine, in various roles in hospitality management, and as a freelance copywriter and voice over artist. Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in dramatic performance with a minor in psychology from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, and a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service.
