This Workforce and Resource Expo will feature dozens of training and hiring partners in the clean energy industry, forging pathways to kickstart a career in Clean Energy. The Expo, hosted at Fordham School of Law in Manhattan, will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on May 29, 2026 and is open to the public.

In our latest Strategy Session, Sector Networks leadership took a significant step toward the future of the three networks. Launching the Implementation phase nearly three years ago, these partnerships are transitioning into the Integrate phase of JobsFirst NYC’s 5-Step Process. This shift focuses on mobilizing our partners to advance what works and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the vital work we’ve built together.
Key Highlights:
Strategic Advancement: We are refining our approach to transition from centralized implementation to systemic influence in fiscal year 2027. This evolution is designed to galvanize our cross-sector synergies, ensuring they are visible, well-funded, and ready to serve as a sustainable blueprint for the broader workforce field.
Field Leadership: Our commitment to driving the workforce agenda remains steadfast. By lowering traditional competitive barriers and establishing scalable proof points for shared data alignment and system-wide referral structures, Sector Networks are setting a blueprint for collaboration that actively informs public policy, city contracts, and funding mechanisms across the ecosystem.
Future-Fit Innovation: Under the leadership of Denise Brouder, our new Director of Work Solutions, we are launching an AI Advisory Council and deepening our employer mobilization and activation strategy. This strategic direction turns our local expertise into a national platform, helping our network and funders navigate the future of work through collective efforts and forward-thinking practice.
By elevating our insights and successful models, we are ensuring that our collective work serves as a permanent catalyst for systems change across the workforce ecosystem. We are motivated and excited to transform three years of deep partnership into a shared vision for the field.
