Amina Yamusah serves as the Director of Work Solutions. In this role, Amina works to establish, cultivate, and engage with sector-based and employer partnerships to advance practices and policies that achieve better outcomes for employers and workers. Prior to this role, Amina served across the New York City workforce development ecosystem as a program manager, career coach, and engineering manager. As the Tech Talent Pipeline campus manager at Medgar Evers College and Small Business Services, Amina led programs and job placement initiatives to help double graduation rates and hiring rates for Medgar Evers Computer Science students. At OneTen and Sector, Amina led technology initiatives to digitize resources, training opportunities, and hiring opportunities to help all New Yorkers access high-paying jobs. Amina has also led classes and workshops across DYCD youth programs, the Bronx Digital Pipeline, and local social entrepreneurship organizations. Amina received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics at Princeton University, with a focus on environmental justice and the voting rights of Black and Latina women.
