Ilaniah Peña is a JobsFirstNYC intern. She joins JobsFirstNYC from Genesys Works as part of the organization’s commitment to developing youth talent. Ilaniah is currently a Senior at The Young Women’s Leadership School of the Bronx and is on track to graduate with an advanced Regents diploma. Her goal is to pursue a career in the medical field. While at JobsFirstNYC, Ilaniah will assist the team across various projects, contributing to communications, data analysis, and research while gaining firsthand experience in workforce development and nonprofit operations. Outside of her academic and career pursuits, Ilaniah enjoys painting and writing. Passionate about volunteering, learning and making an impact, Ilaniah is excited to be part of the team.
