Lilian RothManager, Research and Practice

Lilian Roth serves as the Manager of Research and Practice for JobsFirstNYC. In this role, she produces and communicates original research on JobsFirstNYC’s projects and partnerships as part of a broader strategy to bring the organization’s time-tested solutions to scale. Prior to joining the team at JobsFirstNYC, Lilian spent four years working and studying in Europe. As a Fulbright grantee in Madrid, Spain, Lilian taught for two years in a public secondary school and coordinated a regional Model United Nations program for the Spanish Ministry of Education. She then explored the intersection between technology and human behavior while earning her master’s degree in Science, Technology and Society at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Lilian completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Virginia, where she double-majored in Global Development Studies and Spanish.
