Tech Sector Network

Hosted the Tech Employer Roundtable

On May 21, TSN brought together leaders from top employers, including Accenture, Bank of America, BitxBit, Blackstone, PeopleShores, Salesforce, and Warner Music Group. The session was centered around the feedback received from young adults from tech training programs, aimed at closing the feedback loop from young people to trainers to employers.

Highlights include:

  • Rah from Accenture’s incredible energy lit up the room – stating that recruiters should look for hunger for knowledge and grit when evaluating early career talent.
  • Molly from Blackstone, highlighted the need for legislative pressure on companies to invest in emerging talent and internal upward mobility.
  • Ivan from BitxBit noted that candidates should seek to develop a deep understanding of AI and its functionality in the workplace in order to stand out in the evolving tech landscape.

Thank you to our partners at Accenture and to TSN Members Ana Reyes-Martinez, Nelson Abbott, and Scott Naab for making this roundtable outstanding!
